Found this adorable red, white, and blue salad recipe for the fourth--cut out provolone cheese in star shapes, craisins, and blueberries with a poppyseed dressing. It was yummy. We did the typical fourth of July thing--parade, BBQ at my family's, and fireworks at Joe and Melynda's. Clarke was scared to death at first, but then he started saying, "boom, boom, boom!!" and loved it. It was funny.
