All in all, I got 41 quarts and 15 pints of cherries, 14 quarts and 16 pints of pie filling, 13 pints of jam, 2 quarts of dried cherries, and about 6 quarts of frozen cherries. It was a lot of work. Especially pitting the cherries for the jam, dried cherries, frozen cherries, and pie filling. But I can't wait to use them in crepes, plain yogurt, cherry crisp, dump cake, waffles, on cheesecake, and just for snacking! We did the pint jars to give away for Christmas gifts this year. Not very much expense, but a whole lot of love and time into each jar from our entire family!
