May farewells

May was the bittersweet month of farewells for us. We said farewell to our awesome landlords and their adorable son. We had a farewell party for Marissa and her best friend Ivy, who both left Florida when their dads graduated. Even their sweet teacher Miss Summer came to say farewell. Thanks for all the fun farewell parties, everyone!

Lastly, we have a picture of Ty's sense of humor with toast.

March and April

I had a few projects going on during the beginning of the year. First, I got to do the flowers for Danny and Alexandra's wedding, and had a blast working with 30 dozen roses!! I should've taken more pix, I think they turned out good. Then I did girls camp crafts again, and camp was so awesome!! I sure love my young women!! Ty frequently falls asleep with Chandler, and I thought this picture was hilarious. We got to spend Easter in Idaho, and had a traditional passover dinner with all of my family--we loved it and look forward to making it a yearly tradition. Chandler borrowed my new tube of lipstick--lovely color on him, don't ya think?

February

February brought a big milestone in our family--Ty had his 30th birthday!! Marissa had a teddy bear picnic at school, and had so much fun wearing her pajamas to it. Also, my kids love their daddy--can ya tell?

Introducing Our New Family Blog!

I'm excited to announce that we are starting this blog! It's been a project that I've wanted to do for a long time, and I'm finally getting to it. It seems like 2008 has been extra busy with finishing dental school, moving, and settling. We moved the last week in June, and have been waiting for our house to be done, and then for internet. We finally got internet this week! Hallelujah!!! and sorry for neglecting all our emails everyone!!

I've had a hard time deciding where to start, and I thought maybe I'd do a recap of our year so far, and then hopefully keep you updated after that.

I thought I would also offer an explanation for the name of our blog. Well, how do I explain it? I just thought it was a bright, cheerful, fun name!

Please feel free to comment on anything!
